We hope you and your families are safe and sound. The last few months have been quite rough for all of us and it is safe to say that we are all optimistically awaiting the return of normalcy.

We are delighted to inform you that Hollywood Vision Center is now open to fulfill your vision care needs.

Though the world may seem alien and strange right now, you will find familiarity in our commitment to serve you without compromising your safety.

Here are highlights of the various safety measures we will be taking to put all of your concerns to rest. Our aim is to ensure that our staff and patients have as minimal exposure as possible, by adhering to sanitation directives and reducing the number of people present in the premises to implement effective social distancing.

To ensure optimum safety, we have gone above and beyond the recommendations stated by the American Optometric Association (AOA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

To begin with, every patient who has booked an appointment will be briefed on our policies regarding sanitization, office distancing, wearing of masks, and use of our sanitizing fogger. Our fogger has been approved by the EPA for application as a safety measure against SARS-Cov-2. Despite its wide-spread effectiveness, it is food-grade safe meaning that it is safe to use in your kitchen. In fact, it is not poisonous if you digest the biocide that we use unlike other chemical disinfectants. In addition, we will provide a free bottle of hand sanitizer compliments of Five Star Hand Sanitizer as long as supplies last. Both companies are kind enough to offer our patients the following discounts:

Any patient that has come in physical contact with an individual affected from any symptoms associated with Corona within 14 days of the date of appointment, must contact us to reschedule their appointment date. The symptoms include fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, and fatigue.

We will sanitize contact points thoroughly after each patient’s visit, and use the disinfectant fogger throughout the whole office each day.

We request only the patients to enter the premises unless you require a guardian or caregiver. This is to allow social distancing in the office except for when you are with the doctor or technician.

Wearing a mask is mandatory for every individual entering the office who will also be instructed to use a hand sanitizer and other cleaning devices as soon as they enter the office.

We will also have a temperature check procedure at the door on the day of your consultation. We will use a no-contact thermometer once you arrive at our premises. Our staff’s temperature is checked on a daily basis as well.

We would like to thank you for being part of our professional family. We value your trust, loyalty and continued support. We look forward to returning and doing what we do best: caring for the people we care about!
